Haribo's Gold Bears are the best gummy bears I have ever had, and I have had a LOT of different gummy bears.

Lots of brands are way sweet and way soft - they are like slightly firmer Jello, but Haribo's are right. Not sweet, not mushy-soft. right. The ideal bears.

Haribo's flavors are yummy, mellow, and not so sickeningly sweet as cheap-o brands. The crappy super-sweet bears are so sweet that my teeth feel comic after I chew them (like they are instantly rotting from the excess sugar), and they give me a stomachache.
